Gems House of Jerk and Richard Banton Productions with LIME Communications have joined forces to present Jamrock 2011, a one night event bringing dancehall /reggae ambassadors from all over the world to Toronto, Canada. Jamrock 2011 features the brightest stars of reggae and dancehall music today, including Mr. Vegas, riding high with his new anthem “Sweet Sweet Jamaica “. Gappy Ranks , Timberlea, Steelie Bashment, Big Jon New Thousand , Dudsymil and Pierre Pleasure from Toronto , Canada complete this night of talent galore. Jamrock 2011, where reggae and dancehall from around the world meets in Toronto, Canada and where each artist and sound systems will bring their flavor of reggae to the Toronto during the biggest Caribbean festival in North America. Jamrock 2011 takes place on Sunday July 31, 2011 at the Premium Banquet Hall, located at # 2630 Lucknow Drive, Brampton ,Ontario. Doors open at 9:00pm sharp.

From New York City, meeting for the first time on the same stage, will be the one and only Steelie Bashment . This one man dynamo has been playing reggae music utilizing his own unique style, for over 10 years, throughout the greater New York and U. S markets. Steelie has now branched out to host his own weekly radio program where he is a radio host, commentator and all around entertainment dynamo.
Big John New Thousand is touted as the U.K legend of dancehall according to Streetcred Urban Lifestyle Magazine. Big Jon has been thrilling crowds from London to Birmingham in the U.K.
The event will also feature new and upcoming talent in Dudsyymil from Toronto, Canada and Pierrepressure. Presto from CHRY 105.5fm Island Explosion will also be making a special guest appearance.
