On June 5 2008 FRIDAY NIGHT REGGAEMANIA was illegally removed form the CKLN airwaves. DJ Ron Nelson and Co-Host Lisa West were informed by impeached CKLN Station Manager Mike Phillips that effective immediately, "their services were no longer required".
To this date, CKLN has yet to make any official statement as to WHY this show was removed from the airwaves, and why in the past 2 months, over 25 other CKLN volunteers were illegally dismissed or "fired".

You're urged to call CKLN Radio and ask for an explanation, and demand that FRIDAY NIGHT REGGAEMANIA and other shows return to the CKLN airwaves!  Call 416-979-5251 and demand answers, especially if you've been a supporter of Reggaemania and CKLN over the years -- as listeners, pledgers, artists, sounds, etc. -- it's YOUR radio station -- and it's time to take it back and stand up for democratic rights!!

I've been a volunteer at CKLN for 25 years and there's nobody who loves CKLN more than me.
